Need Cash Fast? Read This First!

If you are looking for a way to make money very quickly, you will probably find lots of websites telling you how you can make money quickly on the internet.  Be very careful.  People who need cash fast tend to be in a very vulnerable state and will very easily be prey to scams that make you think you can get rich very quickly on the internet.

Of course you can make money on the internet.  I am an affiliate marketer myself - but do not be fooled into thinking it is easy and fast.  Having an online business takes a lot of time and effort before you can begin to see profits.

If you really are in dire straits and need to do something, then the BEST thing you can do is first of all get very clear about your situation.  This is not a pleasant thing to do, but it really is essential.  When you know exactly what you are dealing with, you are in a much better position to do something about it and make plans for your future.

Is your situation really that desperate?  How long, realistically, would it be before you lose your home. Work out exactly how much time you have before this happens (and it may be that it would never happen) - and then give yourself a plan of action for this time period.

Next, make friends with any financial institutions you have.  These days - and especially in these difficult times when most of us are feeling the pinch - most banks are prepared to be friendly and helpful as long as you tell them up front and honestly that you are having a bad time.  They will often advise you of what you can do, and they may be prepared to clear a charge if you have gone overdrawn (depending on the circumstances of course).

If you are having difficulty paying bills or credit cards, explain to your creditors that you are having a difficult time.  Many companies have policies for arranging lower payments if you are experiencing difficulties.  Don’t be afraid of this - you are doing something positive for yourself by sorting these things.

In the UK we have a great service called the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, where you can get free advice about all kinds of things.  I don’t know what kinds of similar services other countries have, but do take advantage of this if you have one.  You can find out whether you are eligible for any benefits and get free legal advice for any situation.

Once you have sorted out your immediate situation, then you can start to plan for the future.

That means that you need to start focussing on what you want.  Far too many people focus on what they don’t want - which means that they usually get more of it.

For example, do you often say ” I really want to get out of debt.”?  If you do, you are actually focussing on the debt itself, and it will be difficult to get out of it.  Instead, focus on having lots of money in your bank account.  Start to create a goal for how much money you want - and, most importantly, what you want it for.

Something that I am working on myself at the moment is the ability to be grateful with what you have now.  Desperation and neediness have a tendency to drive the very thing you want away.  Acceptance and gratitude will bring you more of what you want.  Every morning be grateful for what you have in your life right now - and be grateful for the good things that are coming to you.

The most important next step is to create an action plan to get you from where you are now to where you want to be and TAKE ACTION.  All the visualising and focus in the world will mean nothing unless you start doing something that will take you towards your goals.

You may not make money quickly.  But if you follow these steps, you can begin to get yourself into a better situation from which you can create a more powerful vision for yourself.

“Need cash fast” is not a powerful vision for your future.  Being realistic about your situation and your goals, and having a motivating vision that will drive you forward is.  Joining an affiliate marketing company is an investment in your long term financial future, not your immediate one - but if you stay positive and clear, it will be well worth the wait.
